Zev Demetrius is a convicted thief who has historically used his opponents' own heist plans to pull jobs before his opponents have a chance to complete the job, once even getting one over on Mozzie.
In "One Last Stakeout", out of revenge, Mozzie and Neal Caffrey used Zev's M.O. to their own advantage by acting like Neal was going to steal a painting while their real target was the Mosconi Codex displayed in the same museum. With Neal going through every step of the theft with Peter Burke, they manage to find Zev's fingerprints on the security gate panel and he was subsequently arrested.
