Penny Chase is the girlfriend of Nate Osbourne and a romance book editor.
Penny met Nate when she came across his photo in Mugshot Monthly and she started writing to him in prison before she helped him escape.
During their crime spree, Nate stole many luxury items for Penny, including Marilyn Monroe's wedding ring and a new perfume inspired by Marie Antoinette.
The "Bonnie & Clyde" duo end up kidnapping Peter & Elizabeth Burke and the four end up bonding until Penny and Nate find out that Peter is an FBI agent. Nate and Penny bring the Burkes to the New York Hall of Science to steal a rock from the moon to fulfill Nate's promise to Penny to give her the moon.
When they realize there's no way out, Peter manages to convince Penny and Nate to surrender, preventing certain death.
