Nate "Oz" Osbourne is the boyfriend of Penny Chase.

Oz was sentenced to 15 years for allegedly assaulting a police officer. In reality, he had accidentally dropped a battery on the cop's foot but the cop gave a false testimony and nobody believed Oz, so Oz was given the maximum sentence that should've been a misdemeanor.

While in prison, Oz met Penny Chase and they fell in love exchanging letters, in which he promised to treat her like a queen and give her the moon. Subsequently, Penny helped Oz escape from prison and they went on a "shopping" spree, eventually hitting a luxury perfume brand where Sara Ellis and Neal Caffrey were helping with a launch party for a new perfume line.

After leaving the perfume shop, Oz and Penny kidnap Peter & Elizabeth Burke, commandeering their car. Oz and Penny eventually bond with Peter and Elizabeth until they find out that Peter is an FBI agent. To fulfill his promise to Penny, he still goes forward with stealing a rock from the moon. When Oz and Penny realize there's no way out, Peter manages to convince the "Bonnie & Clyde" duo to surrender, preventing certain death.
