Matt Bomer plays Neal Caffrey, the main character, in White Collar.

Matt Bomer stars as Neal Caffrey in USA Network's original series White Collar, which have concluded airing its sixth season.

Bomer is fast becoming one of Hollywood's most promising young actors. Having completed a starring role in New Line's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and appearing in Flightplan with Jodie Foster, Bomer is poised for an exciting ride.

Bomer is also a seasoned television actor. His credits include a series regular role on the ABC series Traveler and recurring roles on the NBC series Chuck and the FOX series Tru Calling.

As a writer, Bomer, Neal Dodson and Zachary Quinto have teamed up with country music star Brad Paisley and executive producer Mark Schwahn to create Nashville, a drama revolving around a young female singer destined for stardom -- and a male songwriter whose career is not as certain. The pilot was sold to The CW.[1]

Bomer received a B.F.A. degree from Carnegie Mellon University. After college, he moved to New York where he worked on stage until landing roles on television.[2]

Bomer and his partner and publicist, Simon Halls, have three sons (including two twins) via surrogacy.

Matt Bomer is openly gay, having known about his sexuality since his teenage years.[3] He even said hiding it taught him how to act.[4]
